This November, we're bringing Birmingham's property industry onto the padel courts, launching a new quarterly social that brings together property professionals from across the city for padel, networking and a little friendly competition. The first Property Padel Club event takes place on Wednesday 4th November at Neighbourhood Padel, the newly opened venue beneath Digbeth's railway arches. We're inviting a select group of people to join us on the courts, catch up with familiar faces and meet others working in property, with coffee, pastries and time to socialise between games. We're keeping the guest list to just 20 people and invitations personal, with November marking the launch of Property Padel Club, a new fixture in Birmingham's property calendar.

Why We're Starting Property Padel Club

There's certainly no shortage of competitive spirit in Birmingham's property market, so we're interested to see how some of that translates onto the padel courts. Over the years, we've got to know people from all sorts of areas of Birmingham's property industry, from developers and investors to agents, mortgage brokers and solicitors. Some we've worked alongside for years, others we've met more recently, and there’s still plenty of people across the industry we'd like to get to know. For an industry where we work with so many people, we don't actually get together as often as we'd like. Between viewings, client meetings, developments and everything else that fills the working week, most conversations revolve around a particular property, project or client. Before you know it, everyone's heading off to their next appointment. That's why we're starting Property Padel Club. We want to make more time for the people we work alongside, get different parts of Birmingham's property industry together and give everyone the chance to catch up properly, share what's happening across the city and meet people they might not otherwise cross paths with.

By putting a regular date in the diary every quarter, we're giving people a reason to make time for those conversations outside of work. It's a change from the usual networking breakfast, with a few games on the courts, coffee between matches and the chance to catch up without the usual work agenda.

Four Courts Beneath Digbeth's Railway Arches

If you caught our recent Birmingham Brief at Neighbourhood Padel, you'll already have a glimpse of what makes this new venue worth visiting. Located on Floodgate Street, Neighbourhood Padel is home to four courts set beneath Digbeth's iconic railway arches. There's also a coffee shop and bar overlooking the courts, where guests can enjoy a drink, watch the games and catch up between matches. What makes Neighbourhood Padel such a great addition to Birmingham is that Nick and the team have made it about the players, not just the courts. Coaching and player development are at the heart of the club, with a focus on helping people improve their game and, most importantly, enjoy playing it, whatever their experience.

Save The Date: Wednesday 4th November

With just 20 places available across four courts, we're keeping the first event small and personal, giving everyone the chance to get involved on the courts, enjoy a few games and properly get to know the people they're playing alongside.

Never played padel before? No problem at all. Whether you're a regular player or picking up a racket for the first time, everyone can get involved. We're expecting a bit of healthy competition, although we can't promise everyone's padel skills will match their property expertise! We'll be sharing more details about the first event soon, including the start and finish times and what to expect on the day.

Fancy Joining Us?

If you're part of Birmingham's property industry, whether you're coming for the padel, the pastries or a bit of both, we'd love to hear from you.

Pop your details into the form below to register your interest, and we'll be in touch to confirm availability. Registering your interest doesn't automatically secure a place, as we're limiting the first event to 20 guests. If all places have been filled, you can join the waiting list for November and register your interest in future dates.
